Eureka Productions’ Stars on Mars brought a US celebrity reality format to Coober Pedy, South Australia, with the outback’s red, “otherworldly” landscape doubling as the surface of Mars. The series places celebrities inside a Mars-style simulation base, tackling missions and eliminations as they compete to be the last one standing.
