Fremantle has appointed Rikkie Proost as CEO of Eureka Productions, following the launch of a new shingle, Eureka Studios, led by founders Chris Culvenor and Paul Franklin as co-CEOs. Under a three-year deal, Eureka Studios will focus on creating new original IP (including global unscripted formats), while Eureka Productions continues delivering major unscripted series across the U.S. and Australia.
FOX has renewed Farmer Wants a Wife for a third season, with the new season set to premiere Thursday, 20 March 2025. The dating series continues to follow farmers looking for lasting love with women willing to embrace rural life, as the format builds on its strong audience response in the U.S.
FOX has renewed The Floor for Seasons 2 and 3, doubling down on the hit trivia “conquest” format produced by Eureka Productions and Talpa. Host and executive producer Rob Lowe also signed a first-look unscripted deal with FOX to develop additional projects. The game expands in the next seasons to a 100-contestant / 100-square LED floor, where head-to-head quiz duels let winners take over territory until one player conquers the entire floor.
Jay Pharoah has been named host of FOX’s new gameshow The Quiz With Balls, a trivia-meets-physical-competition format produced with Talpa Studios and Eureka Productions. Each episode pits two families against each other on a platform above a pool as they answer multiple-choice questions—choose wisely and stay dry, choose poorly and a giant ball can send you splashing into the water.
Stars on Mars is a FOX reality competition series hosted by William Shatner, who guides contestants from “Mission Control” as celebrities live together in a Mars-style habitat and face weekly missions and tests. The format centres on teamwork, leadership and survival-style challenges, with eliminations narrowing the field until a single “celebronaut” remains.
