Apple TV+ has announced “KPOPPED,” an eight-episode K-pop song battle series starring PSY and Megan Thee Stallion. Each episode sees Western artists reimagine one of their biggest hits by collaborating with top-tier K-pop idols, with a live Seoul-based audience voting for the winning “K-popped” performance. The series is produced by CJ ENM and Eureka Productions, with Lionel Richie and Miky Lee among the executive producers.
Fremantle has appointed Rikkie Proost as CEO of Eureka Productions, following the launch of a new shingle, Eureka Studios, led by founders Chris Culvenor and Paul Franklin as co-CEOs.
