The Chefs Line - SBS

The Chefs’ Line series one screened on SBS in 2017 and is now being shown in over 17 countries with series two coming in August 2018. A celebration of food, flavour and the country’s deep and diverse restaurant culture. In commercial kitchens there exists a clear hierarchy and structure known as The Chefs’ Line. In this series, this hierarchy as the trigger for a high stakes competition: Each week four amateur Home Cooks take on the line of their favourite Restaurant - cooking against one Chef each episode, starting with the Apprentice and going right up to the Head Chef. Showcasing a different cuisine each week, audiences will witness all the competition, comradery and spectacular skills of these talented cooks and chefs.
